Donation Print: Senior Dogs
Older dogs often get ignored in shelters. Abandoned by their families to live out the last few years of their lives in confusion, and often in fear and pain. I created this illustration in their honor, because Seniors Rock!
I'm donating 50% of my profits to A Place to Bark, a nonprofit founded in 2001 by the dynamo, Bernie Berlin. A Place to Bark runs solely on donations, and has saved over 3000 animals—many of them seniors—in the last seven years.
A Place to Bark is a new shelter concept tackling an old problem—they are not just about the initial save, but the longterm save. A Place To Bark is a temporary home, a foster facility that provides quarantine, full vet care, rehabilitation, and training to help adoptable animals further along in the adoption process. All animals rescued are spayed/neutered in order to reduce future pet overpopulation.
